With a new camera comes all sorts of new fun adventures, and last night Joe of http://shiftingpixel.com and I went out to take some night shots. Ryan also joined us, more for moral support and timing duties than to take his own photos. Our first stop was a church about 10 miles away from St. Peter in a town called "Norseland" which really goes to show that we have a lot of Scandinavian people in this area. Overall we got some good shots of it and I really enjoyed my first trip out night shooting. I hope to do it again soon and I hope that people enjoy these shots as much as I enjoyed taking them!

@Arun: On this one, the shutter was open for exactly six minutes. I had a fairly high aperture, f8.0, to compensate for the lack of ability to focus, what with it being about 1 in the morning. I really like the star trails too, and I have several other pictures from this night shooting trip to put up over the next week or so. I'm also going out to take some more tonight. I love the full moon!
