Night Light - 2 of 3 -

The second of a three part series I will be posting featuring my old night light. I still use it in my living room when I don't quite need a full-blown light on. Hope you enjoy these shots!

@Anna Lodico: Haha, I had never really looked at it that way before, but it really does kind of resemble large chunks of Jell-O. And yeah, that stuff really is delicious.

Lovely. Such clean lines even with the background being so dark. How did you do it? I'm also curious how your night light looks in its entirety.

@Madhavi: The best answer I can give you for that question is, I have a nice camera, a fairly steady hand, and the patience to take about 20 or 30 pictures and pick out the three that turned out to my liking. And I really like the way it looks as a whole, but I haven't as of yet gotten a picture that I've decided was good enough to put up here :)

This is my favourite in the series. They remind me of the 'stained-glass' art work we used to make at school when we stuck cellophane on the back of black paper that we had cut holes into.

@Helen: It does have a stained glass feel to it. The night light is actually a fairly large lamp encased in a black pagoda-shaped case with chunks missing filled with colored pieces of glass that stick out a half inch or so in various sizes. I'm glad that you like it!
